Friday 3rd July 2009: Hello everyone,

Swayze Buddy Shirley from Texas, USA has been in touch with us about an update on the availability of "The Beast" on DVD. Further to our update of 11th June below, the DVD is now listed on the A&E website for pre-ordering.

You can read more about it here where Amazon give you more details about pre-ordering. The DVD will ship on 19th August. As far as we are aware, this will be a Region 1 DVD. Thanks Shirley!

The case that's haunted Barker for his entire career resurfaces in this season finale. Barker gets a list of six names of people who were involved in the Red Gauntlet operation, and he and Ellis, with help from Todd and Conrad, must track them down before they can get to Barker. Stars Patrick Swayze and Travis Fimmel with guest star Pamela Reed."

Swayze Buddy Crystal from Washington State, USA sent us the information alert from Yahoo! that Patrick continues to work hard on the set of The Beast in Chicago. They are creating an episode each working week and hope to have 11 episodes finished by Thanksgiving in November according to the Film Director Rich Moskal. Last week they were filming along the Calumet River.
