ABOUT THE FAN CLUB

Thank you for your interest in the Official Patrick Swayze International Fan Club. First of all we would like to tell you a little bit about us and how we started.

THE CLUB STORY
The Club was founded by a group of German fans in 1990. Since July 1993 we had Official Approval from Patrick and his wife Lisa - also an artist/dancer - for the whole of Europe, so we were called the Official Patrick Swayze & Lisa Niemi Fan Club Europe. In December 1998, Patrick and Lisa asked us to become International, and then our name became the Official Patrick Swayze International Fan Club.

You can read more about our Club's history in an article that was written by one of our members for our August 2000 magazine. Click this link http://www.patrickswayze.net/clubstory.htm to read the article.

The subscription fees we charge for a Postal Membership (Swayze Buddy) of the Official Fan Club are the actual cost of producing the magazines, photos and updates etc and their mailing out, that you receive for your membership every year. The Official Fan Club is totally non-profit-making and is run on a volunteer basis by fans, for fans.

WHAT WE OFFER
We receive the most up-to-date information from Patrick's Personal staff, that means that what is written in our Magazine is genuine and true! We also feature exclusive photos in the Fan Club Magazine. We do not sell merchandise, but Postal Members (Swayze Buddies) can buy back issues of our Magazine. Now, any fan can buy a sample of the magazine to see what we produce. Click here to buy a sample back issue magazine.

THE MAGAZINES
Our Magazine is issued 3 times a year and includes all kinds of articles about Patrick and we also feature Lisa, his lovely wife. There is a News page with up to the minute information from Rancho Bizarro, a photospecial with photos from the United States, "on the set" reports, news and a "readers corner" where you can request penfriends and read about the Members of the Fan Club. Further more, we have a "Fleamarket" page where you can put in an advertisment (free of charge!) when you are searching for something in particular; like photos, DVDs, videotapes or soundtracks etc.
