Saturday 10th February 2007: Hello Everyone! Fantastic news! As we notified you on this page in December, Patrick was one of the nominees in the Theatregoers' Choice Awards and the great news is that he won in his category of "Best Takeover in a Role" for his portrayal of Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls.
Well Done Patrick!

Wednesday 29th November 2006: Hello everyone!
If you are thinking of making the trip to London to see Patrick perform in Guys and Dolls, we've been told that there are a few tickets left for some of his remaining performances. Remember Patrick extended his run by one week and now finishes up as Nathan Detroit on Saturday 2nd December so contact the Box Office at the Piccadilly Theatre to find out which performances are available and book quickly!

Saturday 18th November 2006: Hello everyone! Patrick announced last night on BBC's Children in Need show that he will be playing Nathan Detroit until 2nd December 2006! Isn't that great! Swayze Buddy Lynne wrote to tell us that there was an article in yesterdays "The London Paper" about nominating
Patrick for "Best Takeover in a Role" for the Theatregoers Choice Awards. the article said that so many of Patrick's fans inundated the website www.whatsonstage.com to nominate Patrick in the category that the website crashed! Lynne says the website is running okay now and she has already cast her vot e!

Swayze Buddy Sue has written to say that the Guys and Dolls website has the following information about Patrick's performances in the show:
"We are pleased to announce that Patrick Swayze has extended his run as Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre and will now be performing until 25th November 2006. The only exceptions are performances from Monday 9th October - Saturday 14th October when he will not be performing. During this week the role will be played by Andrew Playfoot."

Great news! Swayze Buddy Paula was at the Guys and Dolls Matinee show yesterday to see Patrick perform and Patrick told the fans at the Stage Door after the show that he will be in "Guys and Dolls" until the 7th October - isn't that fantastic news! Paula says Patrick is giving some great performances and always comes out to talk with the fans afterwards even if it is raining.

A group of Swayze Buddies were in London over this last weekend and saw Guys and Dolls on Saturday. Patrick is fantastic in the role of Nathan Detroit! You can tell he is enjoying the role and loves being up on that stage! His singing and dancing are superb - Great Job Patrick!
