Wednesday 5th May 2010: Hello everyone,
Just a quick note to share with you the news that our "Jump!" fundraiser was a great success. We were able to sell almost all our tickets for our benefit for The Patrick Swayze Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund and in addition, the screening itself was almost a sell-out! Many Patrons also sent donations straight to the Research Fund at Stanford. We want to say a sincere "Thank You!" to Joshua Sinclair, the JCC and all our sponsors, contributors, supporters and Swayze Buddies who made this fundraiser possible.
Our biggest thanks go to our own Swayze Buddy Sue from Michigan who organised it all in Detroit - thanks Sue!

We have an addition to our news about our sponsored screening of "Jump!" in Detroit on May 2nd. All our supporters (with their permission) will have their name in our printed program for May 2nd even if you can't attend. If you would like to support us in our fundraising efforts for The Patrick Swayze Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund by purchasing one of our tickets for $25, but are unable to attend the screening in Detroit, we would be delighted to include your name in our printed program with your permission. Thursday 25th March 2010: Hello everyone,
As promised we can now announce our next fundraising event which will benefit The Patrick Swayze Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund. We are sponsoring a screening of Patrick's film "Jump!" at the Lenore Marwil Jewish Film Festival in Detroit. For every ticket we sell, we will donate $14 to the Research Fund at Stanford Cancer Center in California.
We are sure that we can count on you. After your wonderful generosity in buying our Calendars which resulted in US $1,230 being donated to the Research Fund, we are hoping that you will rally to this new fundraising call.

Monday 8th February 2010: Hello everyone,
We have heard from Isaac Zablocki, the Director of Film Programs of the JCC in Manhattan who shared the great news that "Jump!" will have a special screening on 16th February at the Manhattan Jewish Community Center. We have also heard from the Director of the film, Joshua Sinclair, who confirmed Isaac's news that he (Mr Sinclair) will attend the screening and hold a special talk afterwards. Friday 22nd May 2009: Hello everyone,
Joshua Sinclair and Lilly Berger have both been in touch with us to give us the wonderful news that Patrick has been awarded the accolade of Best International Actor at the Monaco Film Festival in Monte Carlo on 16th May 2009 for his role as Richard Pressburger in "Jump!".
Ms Berger said that Patrick was chosen for the role of Richard Pressburger because they knew he was perfect for the part.
Joshua Sinclair told us that Patrick truly deserves the Award as his performance in "Jump!" is exceptional. Mr Sinclair also told us that the world must see and celebrate what Patrick did in this film! The film should be appearing at more Film Festivals in the near future so watch out for it!

Lovely news from the Jewish Film Festival where there will be a special tribute to Patrick at the opening night of the Festival on 23rd April 2009. Click here to read more!
Joshua Sinclair's film, "Jump!" will be the opening film of the festival as it receives it's Los Angeles Premiere. The Opening Night Gala will be held in the Writers Guild Theater on Thursday, April 23, 8:00 pm - Doors open at 7:15 pm for the red carpet. There will also be a Q and A with Joshua Sinclair, Lilly Berger and Sybil Danning in attendance.

Swayze Buddy Simone Gradl in Germany has told us that Patrick's film "Jump!" will receive it's premiere in Linz, Austria, on 16th April at the Linz Design Centre. Read this report here (in German)
for more information. The premiere is completely sold out and proceeds will go to Alzheimers Research Charities. The great news is that the film will go on general release in Austria two days after the premiere!
