Cody's Speedrome is on it's way out. The business is losing money fast. In spite of the popularity of Ernie "Slam"
Webster, the hero of the Demolition Derby, Mike Cody (Jamie Lee Curtis) is desperately trying to save her inheritance
from repossession by creditors.
Mike uncovers a plot to close down the Speedrome to make way for a new Leisure development, guaranteed to line the
pockets of the local City Hall officials.
Slam, who is recretly in love with Mike discovers her in a compromising situation with Tim Pearson, the son of a local
Planning Committee Official. Fed-up with everything, Slam gets drunk and demolishes his house with a JCB while his wife
is making whoopie with a washing-machine salesman. Donīt worry though, it has a happy ending!
