BLACK DOG
"Jack Crews"

Cast: Patrick Swayze (Jack Crews), Meatloaf (Red), Randy Travis (Earl),
Gabriel Casseus (Sonny), Brian Vincent (Wes).
Patrick plays Jack Crews, a top notch trucker who made one mistake
and paid for it with his trucker's license and a prison term after
involvement in a fatal accident.
Now, released from prison, he has to find work to support his family
and pay the mortgage. In danger of losing his house, he is forced
to take on a dubious contract to drive a truck containing illegally
imported assault rifles and other munitions. The movie is loaded
with truck chases and spectacular stunts. Jack's wife Melanie (Brenda
Strong) and daughter Tracy (Erin Broderick) are both kidnapped by
Jack's crooked boss who holds them hostage to ensure Jack will complete
the run. Jack is forced to play along to ensure the safety of his
family. Enter the FBI, and the chase continues! The sountrack is
a collection of Country music including tracks from Randy Travis,
Lee Ann Womack, Patty Loveless and Rhett Akins, who sings the main
track throughout the film, "Drivin' My Life Away".
